Join author, Mikesh Mistry, in the wonderful All Saints' Church in Earls Barton, as he gives a talk on the First World War in Northamptonshire.
Please note this page is for the morning event (starting 11:30am). If you wish to attend the evening event starting at 6pm, please see here.
Using research and material that did not make the book, Mikesh will give a fascinating insight into what life was like for those living back in Northamptonshire during the war. The talk will also look at the battles the men of the Northamptonshire Regiment fought on the Western Front and other theatres of war.
The talk will be complimented by some wonderful images, cartoons and amusing anecdotes. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions after the talk.
Signed copies of Northamptonshire in the First World War will be available to buy during the event at a special discounted price.
Guests will be served tea/coffee and cake during the interval.
Please book early and secure your discounted ticket for what will be a most enjoyable and educational experience held on Remembrance Day 2023.
